Camping du Bocage was built in 1971 and continues to serve both local and foreign travelers with our warmest welcome every year. The campsite is offering 200 pitches suitable for any camping style: tents, car-camping, as well as caravans with standard hookups available.

Location

​

The campsite is located at 19 Rue du Bocage, 50270, Barneville-Carteretin in Manche, Normandy. This quiet, beautiful commune is known widely for its impressionist paintings and breathtaking landscapes. You can access this town by highway D650 from Les Moitiers-d'Allonne to the north which passes through the north of the commune and continues south-east following the coast to Le Pont de La Roque.

The campsite is only 200 meters away from the Carteret Port, known as a 'port of the isles', which provides 45 minutes ferry service to Jersey and the other small islands. The warm, sandy beaches of Barneville and Potinière, where fun activities and stunning views await, are also minutes away from the campsite. Discover a long list of amazing cultural sites like Terre d'Aïeuls Garden, Carteret Lighthouse, Cotentin Windmill in Fierville-les-Mines, Manoir du Parc in Portbail, and many more.

 

There are also countless engaging activities both for adults and kids available, including a nautical school and water activities (kayaking, windsurfing, paddleboarding) on the nearby beach, hiking on one of many amazing trails surrounding the campsite, horse-riding on the equestrian center in La Haye, Labyrinthe La Clé des Champs, Aéroplume® Écausseville in Écausseville, La Ferme du Jardin, Normandy animal conservatory in La Hague, Funbox in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, Le Blockhaus Escape Game in Carentan les Marais; the choices are almost endless.
